In September 2010 the Trumansburg Fire Company voted to start the Letters to Santa Program with a budget of $500 from the Fire Company and a few donations from people in the community. This year, we are proud to provide this program yet again. We ask children from the community to bring their letters to Santa to the firehouse and "mail" them to Santa using the special white mailbox in front of the firehouse. A committee will read the letters, contact the families, buy and then wrap the presents. On Christmas Eve, Santa will come to their house on a firetruck and deliver one present from their letters.
If you would like to know more about the Letters to Santa Program or would like to make a donation, please contact any member for the Trumansburg Fire Company or call Patty Dodge, Assistant Treasurer, Letters to Santa Organizer, 607-387-7501.
Donations can be sent to Trumansburg Fire Company, 74. W. Main Street, Trumansburg, NY 14886. C/O "Letters to Santa"
